⚠️ In-place Knuth long division with implicit normalization and reciprocals.

§Safety

  • numerator MUST contain at least three limbs.
  • divisor MUST contain at least three limbs.
  • The highest (most-significant) limb of divisor MUST be non-zero.
  • numerator MUST contain at at least as many elements as divisor.

§Panics

In debug, panics if any condition of use is violated. In release, may panic or trigger UB if any condition of use is violated.
