pub struct getChainIdReturn {
pub blockChainId: U256,
}
Expand description
Gets the current block.chainid
of the currently selected environment.
You should use this instead of block.chainid
if you use vm.selectFork
or vm.createSelectFork
, as block.chainid
could be assumed
to be constant across a transaction, and as a result will get optimized out by the compiler.
See https://github.com/foundry-rs/foundry/issues/6180

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...)
attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
